From Morocco to Denmark

My name is Houcine, and I’m from Morocco. I’ve had the incredible opportunity to volunteer at Mideladercentret in Nykøbing Falster. This experience has allowed me to learn and grow in ways I never expected.

Volunteering at Mideladercentret

At Mideladercentret, I engage with the community, meet wonderful people, and contribute to various activities. The connections I’ve made here have profoundly impacted me, making this experience truly special.

Crafting with Wood

I’ve delved into woodworking, making spoons and bowls. Learning the techniques and facing challenges in this craft has been rewarding. There’s something satisfying about creating functional art from a simple piece of wood.

Blacksmithing Adventures

My blacksmithing experience has been thrilling! I’ve made knives and learned the intricate process behind them. Working with tinder and fire adds an element of excitement, and I’ve shared many laughs along the way.

Playing with Kids and Archery

One of my favorite parts has been playing with kids at the center. Teaching them archery has been a joy, filled with laughter and friendly competition. Their enthusiasm is contagious and brings back memories of my own childhood.

This journey in Nykøbing Falster has enriched my life in so many ways. Volunteering has taught me valuable lessons, and I look forward to continuing this path of growth and connection.
